It represents so-called "smart money" whereby the startup we invest in will receive not only capital but also contacts, know-how, and the opportunity to connect with professionals from various industries and potential investors in subsequent rounds. The ultimate goal of our investment is to build at least a regional, and we strive for a globally successful project where everyone—both founders and investors—will ultimately profit well.

In addition to capital, the business angel investor helps the startup with their experience and business contacts.
What is the typical investment amount for an individual business angel in Croatia?
An individual angel can invest from as little as €10,000, but investments are typically in the total amount of €50,000 to €250,000 per individual team. If an individual business angel is unable to finance the entire investment alone, they join a syndicate of angel investors. In special cases when higher amounts are needed and the project is at that stage, they can partner with other business angel networks or VC funds.
